The F-15E Strike Eagle is an amazing plane. I had a USAF friend who worked on them (after we both worked on F-16s) and he got me in the cockpit.

Back in the 90's this was "the" tactical bomber. I don't know if any of you remember Janes F-15 Strike Eagle flight simulator but I helped work on that (beta testing).

The F-15E isn't as fast or maneuverable as the F-15C but it's a sophisticated weapons platform.

Nice formation shot of an F-16, F-15C, F-15E, and an EA-6B. That would be one heck of a strike package! F-16 and F-15 provide air cover, F-15E's do ground strikes, and the EA-6B providing EW cover. Sweet!

Don't know if any of you remember Jane's F-15E, but I was a beta tester for that sim and loved it. The whole Jane's brand was excellent.

The F-15E Strike Eagle is an amazing evolution of the F-15C air superiority fighter. Affectionately called by some the "Mud Hen" this bird packs an incredible load of high tech weapons and a sophisticated radar suite.

This shot is vivid and shows some great aircraft detail. Most of the processing work was confined to saturation, contrast, and sharpening.

Color shots are great but sometimes you can add a completely new take by going black and white. I think this interpretation is powerful and believe you'll agree with me.

Shot is cropped to 1680 and converted to black and white. Levels and contrast were enhanced with one round of mild sharpening.

F/A-22 Raptor and F-15E Strike Eagle Formation 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper

F/A-22 and F-15E 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper.

Classic formation shot with an Alaskan mountain background. The F/A-22 is designed to replace the F-15 and you can see the design improvements. If I remember correctly, the F/A-22 is replacing the F-15E in Alaska.

This shot required a lot of post-processing. The original shot was washed out so I had to adjust the RGB levels. I also did a bump in contrast with a touch of saturation to make the color pop. The end result is much better than the original.
