Friday Video: Steve You With Me?
Hehe, this poor guy Steve gets put through the wringer as he takes a back seat ride in an F/A-18 Hornet. Yes, it's funny but go easy on the poor guy. Unless you've experienced 6-7.5 g's, you have no idea how hard it is. I know from experience, it hurts and staying awake is tough. What you're seeing in this video is "G-LOC".

For this shot, I desaturated the image and then adjusted the brightness/contrast. I then used a photo filter to finish the job.
Friday Video: The F-15 Eagle
One of the best F-15 videos I've seen. The Eagle is about big engines and a big radar. It's an amazing fighter platform that has served many nations with distinction.

P. S. S. I'm doing this through Google Docs and their online form feature.

Formation Flight Over Key West Florida with USAF and USN Aircraft

Had a great time in Disneyworld. :) You guys should definitely check out the new ride called "Soarin'". It was amazing though the lines are insane (90 minutes+) so get there early and get a fast pass.

An A-10 With A Flare For The Dramatic 1680 x 1050 Widescren Wallpaper

Made it home safely from San Francisco. I flew a Continental 737-300 model to Houston and then a 757-200 to Tampa, Florida. The 757 was partially loaded and we took off like a fighter jet from Houston. Best airliner takeoff to date.

The Top Gun poll is over and Maverick personality took first place. Congrats to all you Mavs out there. I too voted as a Maverick so I'm in good company.
To show how old I am, I remember seeing Top Gun when it first came out while I was in USAF tech school in Denver, Colorado. Speaking of which, Feb 4th is always a day to remember for me. It was on Feb 4th, 1986 that I joined the USAF. Will never forget that day.
Now, as for the Patriots, that just sucks. On my flight to San Fran, I had a lay-over in Houston, TX. I caught a little of the 3rd and 4th quarters and was hoping the Patriots would finish off the Giants. Needless to say, on the flight the pilots broke in and told us that the Giants had won. There was little response and a lot of unhappy people (myself included). Congrats to you Giant fans. You guys suck...

F-16 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper In Blue

So who's going to win the Superbowl? I'm putting my money on the Patriots. I'm actually flying to San Francisco tonight (during the game!) so I won't know anything until I get there around midnight.
Looks like Maveric is going to win the Top Gun character survey. We'll see in a couple of hours.

Friday Video: B-1B Bomber
Here's an excellent video on the B-1B Bomber. The USAF transformed this strategic bomber into a tactical role. It's not fitted with the latest tactical weapons and is able to perform missions normally assigned to fighters. It's quite a testament.
Happy Friday!
