Hello! Here's Pieter again. Here's another photo from the Leeuwarden airshow. This beauty was doing a low speed pass at 5 meters above the ground over the whole landingstrip. I had to put my lens back to 50mm to take a picture of the hole plane.
Hello!

Nice shot of the F/A-22 with the Royal Air Force Red Arrows. The Red Arrows fly the BAE Hawk aircraft (a low cost trainer) but fly spectacular demonstrations.
Check out the F/A-18F Super Hornet on final for a carrier landing. Interesting configuration with four external and one center-line fuel tanks. I wonder if they fly missions in that config or if it is just a ferry flight.
Nice framing of this F/A-18F Super Hornet with the moon. Check out the grime on this aircraft! I told you about Navy planes...

Nice shot of an F-16C from Shaw AFB taking-off. Looks like it's the squadron bird with all the tail colors and squadron info. We used to have squadron commander's aircraft that were kept in great shape. I think we called it the "wing ding's bird".

The F-15E Strike Eagle is an amazing plane. I had a USAF friend who worked on them (after we both worked on F-16s) and he got me in the cockpit.
If I could do anything, one of the jobs I'd pick is aviation photographer. Check out this great shot of F-15 and F-16 Aggressor aircraft in formation. Wish I was there...
Here's a great profile shot of the B-1B carrying the Sniper XR advanced targeting pod. Now the B-1B can drop and direct laser-guided weapons!
This shot is like many of the murals I've seen on squadron walls. Here's an A-10 rolling in to a attack. It's a great shot.
Mystery cockpit widescreen wallpaper!
I think the picture says it all, but the Rafale is both beautiful and menacing. A true fighter aircraft.
The French do joint training exercises with the US Navy. Here's a shot of the Rafale practicing carrier landings. It's one beautiful fighter jet.
Here's a shot you don't see often. A B-52 Bomber in formation with F-18Cs over the Nimitz carrier. They were probably playing war games and the B-52 got intercepted (as usual).
